How can music elevate individual and collective attunement at home and the workplace?

Science has long supported the positive impacts of music on the brain including reducing stress, pain and symptoms of depression as well as improving cognitive and motor skills, spatial-temporal learning and neurogenesis, which is the brain’s ability to produce neurons (“Music and the Brain: What Happens When You’re Listening to Music”).

When music is used as a method for cognitive efficiency, emotional wellbeing, and physical health, it acts as a tool for groups and individuals to reach overall optimal wellbeing.

For many, music and sound is an afterthought; acting as background noise or hype music for a workout. But how can the information from 1 of 5 physical senses be undervalued when it surrounds us each day, in each moment? Through intentional sound and music therapy, practitioners demonstrate the effectiveness of auditory manipulation and give students the skills for using one of society’s most readily available tools for wellness.

El Javi creates personalized Sound and Music the facilitates introspection, contemplation and connection for organizations, small groups, and individuals.
